Channels TV reacts to viral video of lady accusing her hubby, a staff of the channel , of violence .
Responding to a viral video, during which Ifeanyinwa, a medical doctor and wife of Angbo, accused him of battery, the television station said it’ll take appropriate action after the probe.
Channels made the remark on their Twitter handle saying:
“Channels Television doesn’t condone violence against women or anyone generally .
“The violence matter reported against one among our reporters is being investigated and appropriate action are going to be taken”, it tweeted on Sunday.
In the viral video, Ifeanyinwa, who is predicated in Owerri said Pius, has repeatedly been beating her up.
Ifeanyinwa mentioned that they need 4 kids which throughout their 6 years of marriage, Pius beats her up even when she is pregnant, and even sits on her tummy.
She showed her battered face, and stated that her husband tried strangling her, albeit she just had a baby through cesarean delivery , 4 weeks ago.
