OYOGist.com has learned that the Nigerian Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has reportedly called out the former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan for being a trabalistic man.
The minister also added that the former Nigerian President Goodluvk Jonathan fought against him due to the fact that he defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), after he refused several enticements from Jonathan to remain in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“Let me tell you who I am; I do not drink, I have never tasted alcohol in my life, I don’t smoke; I am not tribalistic. Whether in Rivers State or in Nigeria, I am not tribalistic.”
The minister noted that former President Goodwill Jonathan’s tribalistic habit was what made him support President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 for the position of President.
‘If I were tribalistic, President Goodluck Jonathan offered me the opportunity to remain in PDP, he offered me all sort of opportunities and I said that I have given my allegiance to Buhari because I am not tribalistic.”
The minister also noted that Jonathan fought him not knowing that he was fighting against God. “You know, when Goodluck fought us, he was not fighting me, he was fighting God and I knew he would fail.”
