Nigeria, USA, Others To Lead Global Coalition Against Terrorism

According to report reaching OYOGist.com, the Nigerian National Security Adviser (NSA) Rt. Col. Ali Muguno has revealed to the Nigerian populace that Nigeria and the United States are committed to lead a global collision against Boko Haram, ISIS and other terrorist groups in the world.

Mr. Munguno stated that the resolution was reached on Tuesday during a virtual meeting which consisted of the 82 member global coalition drawn from Africa, America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

The NSA also said that act of terrorism has really affected so many people’s livelihood, the world economy and also the peace of the world to a large extent.

“The meeting called for more measures to counter radicalization, recruitment of gullible individuals and concerted global efforts to defeat ISIS.”

“At the end of the meeting, the co-host, Nigeria and USA, as well as the 82-member global coalition, reaffirmed full commitment to defeating ISIS and other terror groups including ISWAP and Boko Haram in Nigeria,” The NSA said.

Mr. Munguno during the briefing also stated that the Nigerian governments efforts in the global fight against terrorists was applauded by the International communities.

Mr. Munguno also stated that the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration was committed towards defeating Boko Haram and ISWAP in the North Easthern part of the country.
