The US 2020 Presidential election winner and current President-elect, Joe Biden has expressed shock over the “alarming rates of rising COVID19 cases” in the country, OYOGist.com reports.
He has called on the current Trump administration to act fast to stem the spread of the infection.
In his tweet, he said “I am the president-elect, but will not be president until next year.” He then called on the Trump administration to take urgent action.
“Urgent action is needed today, now, by the current administration.”
America is the current epicenter of the coronavirus infection, with more than 2 states already recorded over 1 million cases, OYOGist.com reported on Friday.
On Wednesday, California became the second U.S. state to surpass 1 million Covid19 cases after 143,000 were recorded. The United States now has a record 10million-plus cases of Covid19.
