The Governor of Ebonyi, Head of David Umahi, has sacked the political appointees of the Ohaukwu local Government of the state
Umahi gave orders on Friday in a statement signed and issued for the newspaper in Abakaliki by the State Government Secretary, Mr. Kenneth Ugalala.
“In the determination of the Ebonyi Government who is mostly concerned to enable greater participation of people in government, David Umahi has approved the sack of political appointments from the Ohaukwu local Government area with immediate effects.
“Residents holders cover all coordinators, all executive assistants (EAs), all senior technical assistants.
“Others include all technical assistants, all liaison officers, and all members of the management committee development centers” stated Umahi.
“All affected officers were directed to submit all state government properties in their possession to the Secretary of the State Government before the closeness of work on Monday, November 23,” he directed.
