The National Universities Commission has transferred the ownership of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso to Oyo government, while the Government of Osun should take over the college of health sciences in Osogbo.
The resolution followed the persistent crisis in ownership of Lautech over the years.

The Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission Professor Abubakar Rasheed said this to a media briefing in Abuja.
Professor Rasheed stated that the two Governors Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Adgboyega Oyetola signed a memorandum of understanding the event.
