OYOGist.com has learned that a Magistrate Court seated at Yaba has reportedly granted one million naira (1,000,000) bail to popular #Endsars promoter, Peter Eromosele and of which he was also asked to provide two 2 sureties from his family.
During the case hearing at the Yaba Magistrate court, the court was said to have reportedly rejected the police request to detain Peter Eromosele for 30 days so as for the police to conclude its investigations.
It should be recalled that Peter Eromosele was arrested by the Lagos state police force at his Lagos home on the grounds of sponsoring and providing financial aids to the #Endsars protesters which later resulted to the looting and also the destruction of lives and properties.
The trial was witnessed by many who felt felt concerned about the way and manner Eremosele was treated by the Nigerian authorities. While reacting to the judgement, Eromosele’s mother also known as Mrs. Florence Eromosele was quoted as saying; ” the judicuary is still the hope of the common man.”
