Cross River state Government Commences Return of Properties Hijacked During the #EndSARS protest

According to Reports reaching OYOGIST.com, the Cross River State Government has commenced the return of some looted properties illegally taken during the EndSARS Protest in some part of the state.

In a letter signed by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Christian Ita, the Governor asked all Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) as well as private property owners to come and get their property from the Government Office.

The Statement reads;”Following the directive of the state governor, His Excellency Sir Ben Ayade that inventory be taken of all vandalized property during the recent #ENDSARS violence in some part of Cross River State, notice is hereby given to all Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) as well as private property owners whose property were similarly affected, to meet with the Honorable Comissioner for Tourism & Culture as follows”

“Date: Monday November 16, 2020Venue: Conference Room of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Development, 5th floor, Okoi Arikpo House, CalabarTime: 10am prompt. Those concerned are advised to attend the meeting with inventories of their loss to enable the taskforce team carry out verification exercise”. It stated.
