According to reports reaching OYOGist.com, the Afghanistan authorities have confirmed a bomb blast that occurred at the Helmand province which killed a journalist known as Mr. Dayee.
The journalist was reported to have been killed after a bomb attached to his vehicle went off went off in the provincial capital Lashkargah city. Two civilians along with a little child were killed in the blast.
The journals was said to be working with “Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty” as a reporter in the Helmand province for about 10 ten years.
“He was one our best ones in the Radio. The pain is unbearable,’’ the Radio station manager said during a briefing.
There has been no claim to the explosion by any terrorist organization as at the time of filing this report.
