According to information reaching OYOGist.com, a native of Edo State and a Computer Engineering graduate, who is also said to be one of the conveners of the #Endsars protest was allegedly arrested in his house in Lagos, and was taken to the office of the Commissioner of Police, where he was compelled to write down a statement.
The operatives of the Nigerian Police team raided the house of this reformer today at the Ikeja vicinity, and abducted him. Eromosele Adene was transported to the office of the Lagos CP, Hakeem Odumosu where he’s currently being detained in the police custody, denied access to his legal professionals, and his worried family members.
Remember that the Police Command of Lagos State had promised to withstand any form of protest within the state.
Although the freedom to a peaceful assembling of people is honored in the Nigerian constitution but according to the Lagos Police spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a declaration on Friday stated that the Lagos Police Command will not permit any kind of gathering, parade, or any meeting to hold within the state.
The Federal Government via the CBN recently during the week also acquired an order from the court, to freeze the bank accounts of a few End SARS contributors, and promoters, who were provoking outrage amongst citizens.
