OYOGist.com has learned that renowned Nigerian pastor and the general overseer of the Cidatel Global Community Church, Tunde Bakare has revealed his plans to contest in the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria.
Pastor Bakare who was the running mate of the Nigerian presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari in the 2011 election made this revelation during an interview session with Arise TV on Saturday morning.
When asked by one of the anchors of the morning show, Reuben Abati if he will be contesting in the 2023 presidential election, Tunde Bakare gave a positive reply. ‘2023 i’m ready, I’m prepared,’ he said while teasing he will be requiring the services of Reuben Abati who knows his onions in the media field in terms of advice.
Pastor Tunde Bakare also gave his voice to the issue of social media regulation where he said, ‘Freedom without boundary is dangerous.’ In his opinion, there should be a way to prevent the massive churnout of fake news on social media.
