OYOGist.com has learned that the minister of Niger Delta Affairs have urged the Akwa Ibom Youths to embrace peace as President Buhari is currently committed to meeting their demands to police reforms.
Akpabio made the urge in Uyo on Saturday when he led a delegation from federal government to the state to assist in restoring peace to the state in the wake of Nationwide.
The former Akwa Ibom state Governor was accompanied by federal Appointees from the state including senior special Adviser to the president on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Ita Enang said they were in Akwa Ibom at the instance of the president Buhari.
Akpabio recommended Governor Ubom Emmanuel and others Governors for establishing judicial commission to address concern victims of SARS brutality, he said that the federal government was ready to work with others Governors to achieve justice for victims.
The former governor of Akwa Ibom state have shown a remours over the properties that was destroyed and burned during ENDSARS protest in Akwa Ibom State.
