Reports reaching Oyogist.com reveals that the Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade has relaxed the curfew imposed seven days ago to 6pm-6am.
This was disclosed by the Governor’s Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Ita. The ease takes effect place from today, Saturday 31 October, 2020.
Earlier on, oyogist.com learned that the State’s capital, Calabar has been on 4pm to 8am curfew for the past fours days, a timing which according to some residents, isn’t accurate.
The new Press release read thus;
“The state governor, His Excellency Sir Ben Ayade has reviewed the curfew imposed on the state and has directed that with effect from tomorrow, Saturday, October 31, 2020, curfew hours will now be between the hours of 6pm and 6am daily.
“Restriction of movement is hereby relaxed from 6am to 6pm”.
