According to report reaching OYOGist.com, suspected gunmen have allegedly kidnapped the Local Government Chairman of Igando LGA, Comrade. Jacob Olayiwola Adeleke in Oyo State.
According to information garnered by OYOGist.com, Comrade Adeleke was kidnapped alongside his driver on Sunday night along Okeho-Ado Awaye on his way to Ibadan for a scheduled meeting with the state Governor Seyi Makinde.
The incident was announced by the spokesperson of the Oyo State Police Command, Olugbenga Fadeyi, who confirmed the incident while stating that efforts are being made to rescue the Local Government Chairman and also apprehend the culprits.
The local vigilantes have also deployed their men to the forests in order to rescue the Chairman along with his driver.
