Manchester United today released a new pre-match training Kit in collaboration with Adidas and Pharell Williams. This is the new pre-match kit that Manchester United players will wear before games this season, and it would first be seen when Manchester United face Chelsea on Saturday, oyogist.com reports.
The new pre-match kit is based on the iconic ‘snowflake’ blue and white away kit worn in the early 1990’s, the jersey has been reimagined as part of a new collection by Adidas and Humanrace, with Humanrace Creative Director and long-term adidas collaborator Pharrell Williams playing a key role in the design process.
Manchester United new signing Edinson Cavani is set to make his debut against Chelsea tomorrow. Cavani has given a hint about this debut tomorrow as he relishes the opportunity to face former PSG captain and Teammate Thiago Silva.
He said: “It will be great to be able to find him on the pitch, Thiago is very professional, because he works so hard in training and in the pre-match warm-ups. Well, it won’t be easy. It will be complicated because he is a very good central defender and an excellent footballer. But it will still be a great experience.”
Manchester United have identified their next transfer target as they have joined a three-way battle for Borussia Moenchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria. According to Sport Bild’s head of football Christian Falk, United and Chelsea will be competing with Bayern Munich in the pursuit of the 23-year-old.
Manchester United has been long in search of a holding/Defensive Midfielder with 32-year-old Nemanja Matic been the only natural defensive midfielder. It is reported that it would cost at least a fee of £45m to sign the midfielder. He is regarded as the ideal replacement for Nemanja Matic.
