FG Commences N75bn Support Fund Disbursement This Week

OYOGist.com has learned that the Federal Government will commence the disbursement of funds to Micro Small and Medium Enterprises that are successful to participate in the N75bn COVID-19 SUPPORT SCHEMES. The schemes are the National Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Survival Fund and the Guarantee offtake Stimulus Schemes under the Nigerian Economic Sustainability plan.

Recalled in September 10, 2020 the Federal Government inaugurated two schemes to support about 1.7 million Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, (MSME) with N75bn.

The Special Assistant to the President on Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, office of the Vice president who is equally the project Coordinator of Survival Fund scheme, Tola Adekunle told Newsmen that some beneficiaries of the scheme would get their payment this week. He added that they are carrying it out in batches for easy monitoring.

“About 12 States have been earmarked to be paid this week”, he narrated. He equally asserted that the payroll support scheme will start getting their funds at the end of the month. It is indeed, a splendid development to our private sector. We pray it works according to plan.
