OYOGist.com has learned that Manchester United’s striker, Marcus Rashford has continued the End SARS protest, almost one day after the Inspector General of the Nigerian Police, Mohammed Adamu announced the dissolution of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigerian Police.
Manchester United’s striker, Marcus Rashford has continued the End SARS protest, almost one day after the Inspector General of the Nigerian Police, Mohammed Adamu announced the dissolution of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigerian Police.
Rashford was recently awarded an MBE in England for his exemplary gesture towards children during the peak of the pandemic. He received international recognition for his efforts.
Although the Government has announced the dissolution of SARS, protests are still ongoing in Lagos and in some parts of the country. Some of the groups of protesters are demanding that the President speak to them or that he sign an executive order to dissolve the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigerian Police.
