The Federal Government has Commissioned the Onitsha Onne Inland Port earlier today.
Recall earlier last month NIWA revealed that it would make sure full operation of the Onitsha Onne port kicks off with immediate effect in the South East.
Oyogist.com reports that Marsek, leading distribution company has began sending containers directly from China to Onitsha Onne port, also Onitsha has been listed as a port of final destination on Marsek website.
“A vessel departing Shanghai Oct 10 (this Sat) has Onitsha listed as terminal port (arrival Dec 2, 2020).I’m just seeing this so would be good to get more info!!” A Twitter User said.
