According to report reaching OYOGist.com, the People’s Democratic Party In Kwara state are currently in a happy mode as the Kwara State House Of Assembly Rerun Election Tribunal annulled the election of Adams Rufai of the All Progressive Congress.
According to The Punch newspaper, the court subsequently declares the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Salihu Mohammed Gada as the winner of the Rerun election held on the 14th of March, 2020.
The seat for Patigi Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly became vacant when Rufai’s brother, Saidu Ahmed, died in December 2019 after a brief illness.
Meanwhile the Kwara State chapter of the All Progressive Congress has rejected the judgement of the Tribunal.
