OYOGist.com has learned that a group of Young Yoruba people under the auspices of the Yoruba Youth Movement have come to demonstrate and denounce attempts by some Yoruba ethnic groups to secede from Nigeria.
The Yoruba Youth Movement staged a rally in support of an indivisible ‘One Nigeria’ in the ancient city of Iwo, Osun state.
The demostrators came out dressed in their core traditional Yoruba attires to buttress the point that they are indeed true sons of the land.
Some of their placards reads ” We say Capital No to Oduduwa Republic”
“Oduduwa agitators are thieves”
“The unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable”
“United we stand”.
