In the midst of intense political battle of wits happening in Edo state, the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has decided to congratulate the emerging leaders in the State despite circumstances and or uncertainty surrounding Edo political theatre, oyogist.com reports.
The Kogi State Governor through his chief press secretary, Mr Muhammad Onogwu Galaticus said, he Facilitate With Emmanuel Agbaje and Messrs Victor who were appointed as Deputy Speaker and speaker of Edo State house of Assembly, having scored majority votes From members of the house of Assembly, the Governor in the statement Said, it is a welcome development to have the new principal officers that Will help resolve the lasting tussle in Edo politics.
According to Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, Out of 24 house of Assembly members, 17 Members elected thier new pilots yesterday, pledging to restore the Lost glory of Edo State.
The Kogi State Governor continued by saying, Edo State plays a neighboring role to Kogi state and I am interested in the peace and political stability of Edo State. Bello urged the new speaker to be vigilant, stating that Any security miscarriage could plunge the state into perpetual degradation as it relates to economic development.
Yahaya Bello who Spoke concerning the September 19th gubernatorial showdown in Edo State was quoted as saying, “We (APC) owned Edo State and we will not allow PDP to snatch it away from us”, he therefore assured All Progressive Congress faithfuls in the State and Pastor Ize-Iyamu, the candidate of All Progressive Congress of Victory going into the polls.
