According to report reaching OYOGist.com, the payment of the June and July stipends for the Npower beneficiaries is currently yet to be made by the federal government and the management of Npower programme headed by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (MHADMSD), Minister Sadiya Farouq as at 5th of August, 2020.
The reason for the continuous delay is not clear but some exiting beneficiaries have taken to Npower social media platform to voice their displeasures and concerns over the non payment of their two month salary owed to by the government even during and after the salah festive period.
Npower have continously assured beneficiaries on their social handles that salaries for June and July would be paid eventually but without giving specific date of payment like they always do numerous times when they fail to make timely payment to beneficiaries.
The payment is expected to be the last payroll by the government to both batch A and batch B beneficiaries as of July which was the eventual exit time period for batch B has already elapsed.
