The Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, today 5th of August, flagged off the construction project of Airport Road, Ajia-New Ife Express Road with a spur to Amuloko road, oyogist.com reports.
The brief event which took place at Ajia Junction, Ibadan/Ife Road had in attendance top government officials and the residents of Egbeda Local Government Area.
Among the dignitaries present the Flag off of the remarkable project were: the deputy governor of Oyo State, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan; Alajia of Ajia, Oba Nureni Adegbenro, amongst others.
In his speech, the Oyo state governor, engineer Seyi Makinde disclosed that the construction of Airport Road, Ajia-New Ife Express Road with a spur to the Amuloko road project will cost about #8.5Billion.
In his remark, the representative of the construction company in charge of the project, Engineer Olanrewaju Adeleke revealed that the project will be completed within 18 months.
