Barcelona are looking to storm the transfer market as the Catalan giants are looking to bring in world-class players to bolster their squad ahead of next season as they look to regain their title next season, oyogist.com reports.

Barcelona are now reportedly set to agree a massive double deal to complete the signings of Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar and Bayern Munich’s David Alaba.

Barcelona are keen to bring in a world-class defender as the defence has been leaky at times this season and the club have identified Inter Milan’s Centre-back as a potential addition to the Club to massively improve the defensive line. According to reports, Barcelona have opened negotiations as the look to land the defender.

25-year old Milan Skriniar is regarded as one of the best Centre-backs in Europe and his impressive performances has attracted the interest of several top clubs around Europe. However, Barcelona are ahead of other clubs in the race to sign the highly-rated Slovakian defender as Quique Setien is set to begin his rebuild of the club this summer.

Barcelona have opened preliminary talks with the player’s representatives as they’re prioritizing a move for the defender. However, Barca will have to offer Inter Milan a fee in the region of £70million so as to complete the transfer of the defender who is highly rated by the Italian club.

Also, Barcelona are looking to complete the signing of world-class Bayern Munich defender David Alaba as the Bavarian defender has been linked with a move out of the German club. Barcelona are now reportedly set to land David Alaba to the side as he has just one year left in his Bayern Munich contract.

28-year old David Alaba who is regarded by many as one of the best left-backs in Europe has been linked with other clubs as he seeks to try out other challenges. The Bayern Munich left-back who can also feature as a Centre-back and Midfielder could be heading to Barcelona this summer.

Barcelona are looking to reach an agreement of £40million with Bayern to bring the hugely experienced player to the Camp Nuo. David Alaba will bring in massive defensive quality and stability to Barcelona and he could replace Junior Fipro who has failed to consistently impress.

The double signing of Skriniar and David Alaba will be a huge statement as Barcelona are ready to regain the Laliga title and also compete for the Champions League trophy which has eluded them in recent years.
