Nigeria Police Parades 5 Armed Teenage Fulani Robbers Terrorizing Lagos-Ibadan Highway

OYOGist.com has learned that suspected Fulani teen robbers known for operating on the Lagos-Ibadan highway have been apprehended and paraded by the Nigeria Police Force in Ogun State yesterday.

Though, three of the victims were apprehended by Ogun State SARS while others were at large and the ongoing search to get them apprehended was successful as the two escapees were arrested.

According to Ogun State spokesman of Police, Abimbola Oyeyemi said that the arrested teenage robbers were apprehended by men of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) in Ogun State.

Nevertheless, the two suspected teenage robbers at large and being apprehended by SARS team led by CSP Mohammad Tijani in Kogi State were recognized as Yinusa and Ibrahim Mohammed Isah.

The robbery gang involving teenage boys, had on the 17th of this month carried out robbery activities at Alapako end of Lagos-Ibadan by blocking the highway, after beating severely occupants of the blocked vehicle, they dispossessed the two occupants cash in tune of N545,000.

However, the statements being made by the first 3 apprehended teenage robbers led the SARS operatives from Ogun State to Lokoja in Kogi State to get the remaining 2 at large apprehended.

A wooden gun and three cutlasses were reportedly recovered from the teenage suspected robbers which were known before their arrest for terrorizing drivers and passengers on Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
