According to report reaching OYOGist.com, Ramoni Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi will now be supported by another professional lawyer, Vicki Podberesky. His new lawyer would support his attorney on the fraud allegations leveled against him.
Mrs Podberesky is a legal practitioner located in Los Angeles, specialized in defending persons in federal and state cases and also in institutional and in-house proceedings as well as people and corporations.
Mr Abbas is a famous Nigerian public figure based in Dubai with wire fraud allegations in the United States and is commonly known as Hushpuppi.
The FBI accused him of belonging to a fraud network that operated illegally though company emails in by scamming people of their wealth which amounts to million dollars.
The 37-year-old used to be detained at the Chicago, USA Metropolitan Detention Facility, but had been moved across to Los Angeles.
However, Mr. Pitsetssky stated that Hushpuppi is far from being prosecuted, as all evidence is yet to be handed over by the United States government. Also, the date for the next hearing has not been fixed.
