According to report reaching OYOGist.com, former Real Madrid coach, Manuel Pellegrini has returned to Spanish La Liga as he will be Real Betis coach next season. The Chilean was Real Madrid coach in 2009, where he stayed for one season before joining Malaga in 2010, where his biggest deed was taking the team to the Champions League quarter-finals.
He further his coaching trade in England joining Manchester City, winning the Premier League that season before he was sacked in 2016 and was replaced by Pep Guardiola.
Real Betis sacked Rubi after a poor run of form and was replaced by the sporting director. The Seville club released an official statement on their website to announce Pellegrini’s deal.
“Real Betis have appointed a coach of a high level and big international prestige to elevate the performance of the first team in a three-year project,” the club stated on their official website.
