The Director-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO), Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has warned that the worst of the virus is yet to come, OYOGist.com reports.
According to the WHO, until issues of “lack of national unity, lack of global solidarity and the divided world lead” is resolved, the virus will continue to spread.
The six-month anniversary of the outbreak of the virus coinciding with reaching 10 million global cases and 500,000 deaths is of major concern to the world.
Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus advised that everyone should take responsibility doung what they can do to protect themselves and others.
This includes but is not limited to physical distancing, hand hygiene(sanitizing of hands) covering coughs, staying home if you feel sick, wearing masks.
