The city of Ibadan has lost another prominent figure in the person of Chief Bode Akindele, an industrialist and experienced business tycoon, OYOGist.com has gathered.
This is coming barely a day after the burial of the former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobo, who was laid to rest at his Yemoja Str, Oluyole, Ibadan residence on Sunday.
The death of Chief Bode Akindele was announced earlier today, after he died earlier in the morning.
He was said to have died in Lagos. He was 88.
Bode Akindele was one of the citizens who donated to the Oyo State Government’s COVID-19 endowment fund to help fight the pandemic in the state.
