The former governor of Edo state has disclosed what Buhari told him two years ago. The immediate past chairman of the All Progressive Congress party said Buhari personally invited him to head the party two years ago.
In Oshiomole’s statement,Buhari informed him that the party would clash and crash, if the party was not rectified. Oshiomole who claimed he has been a good chairman, said he had offered his best to APC, without any flaw.
Oshiomole even said that the president validated his support for him as he emerged as APC National chairman.
In his statement, he said: “I ceased to be the chairman of the All Progressive Congress”. See the statement he also made:
“MR President graciously invited me to run for the office of the chairmanship of the party in 2018,precisely about two years ago. The president told me that if we did not reform the All Progressive Congress, we can as well forget about 2019”.
“The bottom line is that the president who invited me to lead the party and who mobilised all the support for my emergence as the chairman also presided over the meeting where the NWC has now been dissolved”.
