The President of the United State of America, Donald Trump will be signing an executive order this week that will improve how security personnels (Police officers) treat African Americans and other people living in the country.
This came with regards to the protests that sparked across the country following the death of one African American man, by name George Floyd.
The President of the United State of America, Donald Trump noted that he had faced criticism from citizens of the country on his response and handling of the protests.
One of the senior administration official said the executive order will encourage the police departments to improve by trying federal approval of discretionary grants to good policing practices.
The Police departments will also use the new standards of force; to improve information, sharing so that officers with poor records are not hired.
“We’re going to be talking about things that we’ve been watching and seeing for the past month and we’re going to have some solutions,” The President told reporters during his Broadcast that the lawenforcement officials and families of people who have been killed by the police are expected to be part of the event where he is going to sign the order.
Describing the order that will be sign this week by Another administration official stated that “We are not looking forward to stop the police officers of their duty, but we are looking on investing more and encouraging best practices in treating African Americans and other people living in the country.
