The Northern blind support to Mr. Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian president contributed in reinforcing his failure in governance, Shehu Sani, a Nigerian lawmaker from Kaduna state has stated.
The lawmaker pointed out that from the outset, some of them cried out over the killings in the north, but was seen by those who support Buhari as the enemies of the government and Buhari.
Sani who made this known on his Facebook post said: Most of those who are nowadays crying over the tragic level of mass killings in the North were the same people who once called those who first raised the alarm in the last few years as ‘enemies of the President’ or ‘enemies of the Government.
Their loyalty based on ethnic, sectional, and religious sentiments contributed to reinforcing the failure of the Government and the killings of their people. Their belated wailings notwithstanding, they equally have the blood of the victims in their hands.
