Sheikh Yusuf Sambo Rigachikun, Deputy chairman of the Jamatul Izalatul Bid’ah Wa’iqamatu Sunnah (JIBWIS) in Kaduna, expressed regret over the killing of people in Katsina state, Kaduna State, Sokoto State, Borno, Niger and Zamfara State.

According to a report by Sheikh Rigachikun, at least 850 people have been killed in less than two weeks. Sheikh Rigachikun said he did not see the president’s fault in the security situation in the North, adding that the president had given the North all positions in the security forces who had failed to do the right thing.

Sheikh Rigachikun added that the killing of humans is a crime in islam. He said it is easier to destroy the Ka’aba Mosque than to kill one believer.

The Messenger of Allah said, “Whoever helps one of the believers to kill one and even with only half of a word, the curse of Allah and the punishment of Allah are upon him.”

The cleric made the remarks while delivering a lecture on Friday at the mosque of Sheikh Abubakar Gumi in Rigachikun, Kaduna State. Finally, the teacher prayed that God should bring Nigeria peace and protect us from the terrorists.
