Another Lady identified as Azeezat has been reportedly raped and killed at ibadan. According to reports, Azeezat is a graduate of unilorin who is currently doing her post graduate program at university of ibadan. This event happened around Ibe Ijefun Area of Akinyele ibadan. According to the report, she was raped and killed on the 4th of June 2020.
This new development is the second case to be recorded within a week in ibadan. Raping and molestation has recently become an issue of concern in the society after the case of Vera Uwaila. Just few days ago, an undergraduate named Barakat Bello was also attacked at her residence in ibadan. While Nigerians are trying to overcome the previous two incidents, another one has just been reported.

Moreover, there are indications that one suspect has been arrested. We shall be looking forward for more details from this development. However, we must unite to speak against this evil act in our society.
Oyo State government needs to deploy more security personnel to the community where these perpetrators are executing this evil. All efforts must be channel towards bringing the suspect to justice.
