The Presidential Task Force (PTF) leader, SGF Boss Mustapha has revealed that the President, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari has approved the relaxation of the curfew from 8 PM to 5 AM down to 10 PM to 4 AM, OYOGist.com reports.
The announcement was made on Monday, the 1st of June after the second phase of the gradual easing of the COVID-19 lockdown ended.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met with the head of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 where a briefing was submitted to the President.
This update is coming after President Buhari lifted the ban on religious gatherings and places of worship, following a mandated adherence to new PTF COVID-19 guidelines for places of worship.
The President also approved resumption of local flights starting from the 21st of June, 2020.
