Members of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 on Sunday met with the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting which came few hours to Monday’s expiration of the second phase of the eased lockdown as directed by the Federal Government was held inside the President’s official residence.
It was meant to brief him on efforts made so far to curtail the spread of the virus and to suggest the next line of action.

Members of the panel who met with Buhari included the chairman, Boss Mustapha, who is also the Secretary to the Government of the Federation; the committee’s coordinator, Sani Aliyu; Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire; and the Director General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu.
