The rate of unemployment in our country Nigeria is very alarming and needs urgent attention. Young youths, after graduating from tertiary institutions will end up doing minor jobs, just to survive. But we are all waiting for better days, as the Federal Government embark on the mission of reducing unemployment in the country.
In order to reduce the high rate of unemployment in the country, the Federal Government has opened up a scheme that will see unemployed youths in the rural areas receive a monthly payment of N20,000.
However, the payment of the N20,000 to the youth does not mean they will just sit at home and expect their monthly allowance, the FG has instructed that the youths must engage in activities like clearing of drainages, sweeping markets , road maintenance , traffic control, and cleaning of public infrastructures like health centres and schools.
