Chelsea joins Liverpool and Real Madrid in the race to sign £100 million rated super Eagles star

The Blues have been looking for a replacement for Belgium star Eden Hazard who was sold to Real Madrid last season, with Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho being their number one target but it is believed that the England star is more likely to join Manchester united in the summer.

Frank Lampard side are now ready to shift their attention to the Nigerian who has been rated high in Spanish Laliga Santander. Apart from being a replacement for Eden Hazard, the winger is likely to be the perfect man to replace Spain star Pedro Rodriguez whose contract is set to expired at the end of the season. The Spaniard has said he’ll not be extending his contract with the Blues and he will consider going back to his home country in order to be more closer to his family.

Chelsea are also Monitoring Crystal Palace and Ivory Coast winger Wilfred Zaha as alternative for the Nigerian in case Villarreal refuse to release their dazzler.

Samuel Chukwueze have been linked with a lot of teams in Europe top teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester united, Real Madrid, Juventus etc but the 21 years old once said his dream club is Chelsea and he’ll like to represent them in the future.

“My favourite team in England is Chelsea. I was supporting Chelsea when I was young. When Chelsea lost that Champions League final against Manchester United (in 2008), I was crying all through the night.”

Chukwueze has been superb for Villarreal FC since he made his debut for the Yellow submarine last season and his performance has never gone unnoticed as he was named among the ten best youngsters in the world which was later won by Portugal and Atletico Madrid youngster Jao Felix.

Samuel Chukwueze has also cemented his spot in Nigeria super eagles squad as he was among the players that won the Bronze medal at 2019 Africa cup of nations in Egypt.
