OYOGist.com has learned that the Defense Headquarters (DHQ) has allegedly stated that troops of the Nigerian army have killed 135 bandits in a raid on their hideouts in Katsina and Zamfara States. It disclosed this in a declaration released via its Twitter account on Saturday, adding that the bandits were killed in an operation related to troops of Operation Hadarin Daj.
In line with the DHQ, a few other bandits escaped with gunshot wounds within the operation carried out around Abu Radde Camps 1 and a pair of, Dunya in Jibia and DanMusa neighborhood government areas of Katsina nation, as well as Hassan Tagwaye’s Camp, Alhaji Auta’s Camp, Maikomi in Birnin Magaji and Zurmi LGAs of Zamfara state.
