Imansuangbon, popularly referred to as the “rice man” had a few days ago promised to purchase the form and on Thursday, he kept to his words while collecting the forms at Wadata Plaza, Headquarters of the PDP in Abuja.
While speaking in an interview, “I told you I was purchasing my nomination and expression of interest forms this week and I have made good my promise even while I am still here in the United States, but I can assure my teeming supporters that I will be home soon as I have concluded plans to return.

“The game has started, there`s no going back, Osadebey Avenue is the goal and rescuing the good people of Edo state from hunger and misrule from the hands of these bunch of incompetent APC is our mission”, He concluded.
Although Imansuangbon is vying for the Edo state governorship office for the fourth time, he has consistently failed to emerge as the governorship candidate of any major party. He is still being held back in United States following the outbreak of COVID-19 and the subsequent ban on arr travel.
The Peoples Democratic Party party m, PDP has fixed June 24th and 25th for its governorship primary election, with the Independents National Electoral Commission, INEC skating the Edo state governorship election for September 19th.
