Nigerians have taken to the mini-blogging platform, twitter to share their thoughts on the Covid-19 pandemic and how it is affecting the country, especially the economy.
Trending the hashtag #EndCovidScamNow, many Nigerians expressed their distrust for the government’s Covid-19 and the rational behind the government extension of the lockdown.
A Twitter User tweeted;
“Somethings are not adding up. We need to #EndCovidScamNow
Can we please have pictures of the Lagos Isolation camp with blurred faces of the people?”
A couple of others referenced a memo addressed to the World Health Organisation from the President of the United States, where he shared his distrust for the organisation’s management of the Covid-19 pandemic.
