OYOGist.com has learned that Chelsea have emerged as the front runners for Barcelona young star Xavier Mbuyamba, according to reports from the player’s agent.
It’s believed that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is a big fan of young players, having promoted the likes of Tammy Abraham, Recce James, Fikayo Tomori, Billy Gilmour and Mason Mount from the youth ranks.
Frank Lampard young squad have been impressive this season, having occupied the 4th position so far and as per reports claims, the Chelsea boss is keen on adding another young talent into his team.

According to reports, Chelsea have identified the Barcelona prospect as a possible summer transfer target, with his agent implying that the Blues are winning the race against the likes of Real Madrid for the Netherlands Under-19 international.
In case you don’t know, Xavier Mbuyamba is an 18-year old Barcelona defender who still has three years left on his contract with the Spanish giants.
