OYOGist.com has learned that Manchester United are ‘very close’ to signing Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez. It has been claimed that negotiations between the two parties are ‘ practically closed ‘ with the agreement to be ‘made official’ at the end of the 2019/2020 campaign.
Saul has just 38 goals in 308 appearances during his stay at Athletico madrid. The 25 year old player has a £131 million release clause in his current contract, that doesn’t expire until June 2026.

But due to the financial impact of the Coronavirus , Diego Simeone’s side , Athletico Madrid could be forced to sell the player for around £70 million to balance the books and generate funds for their own transfer plans.
Reports also say that french midfielder Paul Pogba has a ‘very good chance of going’ in the upcoming window and the 19-capped Spain international is his direct replacement.
