OYOGist.com has learned that Super Eagles duo Kenneth Omeruo and Chinedu Awaziem on Wednesday did the mandatory CoronaVirus test as clubs in the Spanish La Liga get ready for the restart of the season.
Recall the league was suspended in March amid the raising cases of the CoronaVirus infection in Spain that left more than 25,000 dead and thousands infected.
The duo underwent tests for COVID-19 under the supervision of the UD Leganes medical staff as the LaLiga had sent a letter recommending all teams to restart training on the same day.

After the test Omeruo and Awaziem posted on their Instagram accounts, ‘Test done, can’t wait to be back training #Test.’
The testing is part of the La Liga’s protocol to restart in the middle of June with all remaining matches are to be played behind closed doors. Individual training will be the first step, followed by workouts made up of small groups and then training with the entire squad.
