OYOGist.com has learned that four out of the eleven Northerners who sneaked in from Sokoto state into Oyo state, on Saturday 2nd of May, 2020 have tested positive for COVID-19.
The State COVID-19 Incident Manager, Dr. Taiwo Ladipo, disclosed this on Tuesday, during a chat with newsmen at the state Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.

Dr. Ladipo hinted that the Confirmed persons have been quarantined at the Infectious Disease Center, Olodo Ibadan while others are closely monitored. He added that contact tracing is on and the state COVID-19 Task Force will do all within its power to break the chain of the dreaded virus.
The Sokoto Citizens who flouted the nationwide ban on interstate movement were nabbed by the police at the Asejire, a border town with Osun State at the weekend.
