The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-Un has been spotted in the public for the first time in 20 days, according to images released by the state’s press, OYOGist.com is aware.
The North Korean leader had been absent from public functions for 20 days, driving speculations about his well-being, with some media reports even saying that he’s dead.
The Supreme Leader of North Korea defied rumors of his death when new images resurfaced showing him opening a fertilizer factory in South Pyongyang, near Pyongyang in North Korea on Friday, May 1, 2020, with the press and members of his government.
The media, not entirely convinced about his magical resurection, has taken to analyze all clues from the photos the state media, known largely abroad for its propaganda, released.
One pundit, Jeffrey Lewis, declared the the man is very much alive, but cannot guarantee that he looks healthy.
Another user pointed out that there was a gulf buggy in the background in the new image, a similar feature that was noticed during his last disappearance in 2014.
The speculation is that he drives around the complex in the gulf buggy given that he may not be fully recovered.
Another observer noticed that the North Korean Leader’s sister, Kim Yo-jong, was wearing a make-up in a conference on Friday, May 1 pushing the agenda that Kim Jong-un is now aware of his sister’s new found elevation in the State affairs.
