Nigerian Army kills 13 Boko Haram Fighters

OYOGist.com has learned that the Nigerian Army Troops of Sector 2, Operation Lafiya Dole stationed in Geidam local government area, Yobe State, has intercepted some Boko Haram terrorists who attempted to invade Geidam town in search for food.

The Air components of Operation LAFIYA DOLE engaged the terrorists in a gun battle, which led to the death of 13 Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists and the capture of two gun trucks.

This information was made known to the public by one twittter user simply identified as Mr Frederick.

Mr Frederick wrote: “Hungry Boko Haram terrorists attempted to invade Geidam a local government in Yobe state in search of food and supplies but were intercepted by Nigeria Air Force Troops of 159Bn, 13 terrorists were neutralized and 2 gun trucks seized.”
