Aisha Buhari reacts to Nigeria’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari’s death

The wife of the President and First Lady of Nigeria, H.E, Aisha Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the passing of the country’s Chief of Staff who died yesterday, 17th of April, OYOGist.com reports.

Abba Kyari succumbed to the struggle against COVID-19 on Friday 17th of April, 2020 after testing positive for the deadly virus on the 24th of March. Kyari was reported to have displayed symptoms of Coronavirus after returning from a trip to Germany.

Abba Kyari was President Buhari’s Chief of Staff and was a close confidant of the President.

In her remarks to the death of her husband’s CoS, the First Lady condoned with the children of the late Chief of Staff.

“From God Almighty we came and to him we shall return. I condole with Mrs. Kulu Abba Kyari and the entire family of Late Malam Abba Kyari over the death of their husband and father,” Aisha Buhari tweeted on Saturday, 18th of April.

She also prayed that Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings give his family the fortitude to bear the loss of a dear one.

The First Lady also used the opportunity to pray for the quickest recover of those infected with the COVID-19 disease.
