The Governor of Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced that 7 previously positive Corona Virus patients have been discharged after testing negative to the virus twice, OYOgist has gathered.
The governor stated in his Twitter post that:
“The patients include one female and six males; three of the discharged male patients are foreign nationals; two Ukrainians and one Italian”.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu also informed Lagosians that in coming days, health care representatives “will be moving around in pairs to administer an electronic questionnaire at homes and healthcare facilities to make enquiries about some symptoms like cough, cold and fever”.
He explained that this measure will assist in uncovering new cases of the virus in the state so that the end may be in sight for the pandemic in the state.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also encouraged the people of the state to continue healthy lifestyles to combat the disease.
As of today, Lagos state remains the state with the highest number of discharged cases in the country, 39 people.
