BBC News has reported that the confirmed global coronavirus cases have now surpassed one million, following data by Johns Hopkins University, OYOGist.com has learned.
The news released on the evening of Thursday 2nd of April, 2020.
According to the Johns Hopkins University’s report, more than 51,000 people have been killed by the virus and more than 208,000 have recovered.
The highest death toll from the coronavirus so far is from the United States, with 4,146 deaths and 215,000 confirmed cases in the US as of 2nd of April, 2020.
